In an article written by Tara Parker-Pope for The New York Times published April 21,2020 some relevant and useful information was shared. It revealed that fabrics used to manufacture sheets and pillowcases are very efficient in filtering large and small viral particles. In response to the pandemic we have produced face masks using 2 layers of our much loved, crisp 200TC 100% cotton percale, the very same we use for our bed linens. The fabric has been treated with a water repellent and antibacterial treatment. It is reusable and can be washed at 140 degrees with detergent which may contain bleach.
